CEA Line Shows And Digital Downtown Conference Combine Cutting-Edge Technology, Industry Leaders and Top Media

Event Features New Product Exhibitions, Conference Panels, Press Conferences, Keynotes, Internet Safety Symposium, Variety 3D Summit, Techlicious Moms Conference

Arlington, VA – May 19, 2011 – The CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown Conference will bring together the top media, trade analysts and key technology thought leaders for two days of product exhibitions, conference panels, presentations and workshops focused on what’s hot and happening in consumer electronics. The 2011 CEA Line Shows is scheduled for June 22-23, 2011 at the CE Week Headquarters, 7 West 34th Street in New York City.

Major participating brands on the show floor and conferences include American Express, ESPN3D, Intel, Leon Speakers, Mitsubishi, Monster, Philips, Pioneer, RCA, Scosche, Tiffen, Toshiba, Vizio, Westinghouse Digital – plus more than 50 additional innovators who are using the event to launch  products.

The Digital Downtown Conference at CEA Line Shows is chaired by Natali Morris. The program is developed by the media for the media to showcase the latest technology trends and new products. Conference highlights include:

  1.  “VC Panel: Web, Apps, Software, Cloud,” moderated by Caroline McCarthy, Social Media and Web 2.0 Writer, CNET News.
  2. “Gadgets of the Year,” moderated by Clayton Morris, Host, Fox & Friends.

  7.  “Show Me The Money: Gadgets and Hardware,” moderated by Daniel Sieberg,Host, ABC News’ Tech This Out!
  8. “How to Work With Mom Bloggers,” moderated by Suzanne Kantra, Founder, and Editor-in-Chief, Techlicious.com.
  9.  “What’s in Store: Trends in CE and Technology Retailing,” moderated by Lance Ulanoff, Editor in Chief, PCMag.com.
  10. “Social Revolution: The Internet and Social Change,” moderated by Zachary Sniderman, Features Editor, Mashable.

The conference will also feature the “NYC Internet Safety Symposium 3.0” and “Variety 3D Summit.” Moderated by Robin Raskin, Founder of Living in Digital Times, the Internet Safety Symposium will look at what kids are really doing online, how they’ve learned to fend for themselves, and a look at some of the new technologies and services that take safety on the Internet to a new level. The Variety 3D Summit will feature in-depth discussions and networking focused on the top business issues impacting 3D Entertainment.

Mom bloggers are invited to attend the Techlicious Moms Conference on June 23, 2011, hosted by Suzanne Kantra, founder and editor-in-chief of Techilicous.com. They will have the opportunity to participate in technology workshops that share the tips and tricks to get the most out of technology; there will also be a private luncheon in the Techlicious Moms Lounge and an exclusive tour of the show floor.

iLounge + NYC, hosted by iLounge.com, will showcase the latest third-party accessories and software for Apple’s iPod, iPhone and iPad platforms including electronic plug-ins, fashionable cases, speakers, headphones and exciting new games and applications.

GeakBeat.TV host Cali Lewis will broadcast live from the show floor at CEA Line Shows and provide coverage of the latest news and announcements, as well as conduct interviews and demonstrations with exhibitors, speakers and attendees.

The ESPN 3D Sports Lounge, located front and center on the show floor, will provide a home base for attendees to take a break and relax, while they enjoy and experience the latest live sporting events on the 3D TVs.
