New Skool Rules Winner BAMA Hits 100,000 Downloads in 2 Wks with “Lay Low” Produced by Drumma Boy

ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – OCTOBER 14, 2011 – Two weeks after the release of the single “Lay Low” by New Skool Rules 2011 global competition winner B.A.M.A. it hits 100,000 downloads. Get the single “Lay Low” produced by Drumma Boy on iTunes now.

Multi-platinum American producer Drumma Boy recently completed an EP with B.A.M.A., winner of the global competition with New Skool Rules. The first single “Lay Low” was officially released internationally on September 30, kicking off the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. The collaboration with producer Drumma Boy and New Skool Rules for the international “digital” talent search was launched about a year ago. The competition promised the winner a round trip ticket to Atlanta to spend 3 days in the studio with Drumma Boy to create 3 tracks.

With over 1,200 enlistments worldwide, the competition’s winner happened to live less than 15 miles away from Drumma Boy. Having taken part in other competitions during the New Skool Rules Conference which took place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in April 2011, B.A.M.A. also won a spot in the International Exchange program hosted by the New Skool Rules Foundation.

But on the other hand, out of the 1,200 enlistments worldwide, he was by far the best.”

New Skool Rules is a three day bi-annual international music conference held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
